Ingeniously, the game features an overhead perspective of the pitch, making it easy to play. You can either challenge the computer or an opponent, choosing from 29 different teams.
The graphics and sound effects capture the atmosphere and action of a real match, and once you've kicked off, winning depends on your skill - players can performa whole variety of movements, including overhead and banana kicks.
MicroProse Soccer has a unique action-replay facility so moments of glory can be seen again. Easy to play, but difficult to master, this simulation will keep you on the pitch day after day.
